Is remapping safe for my engine?
Yes, when it's done properly. We health-check your car first and keep within the safe limits of the engine, turbo and gearbox. If something needs fixing first, we'll tell you.
Do I need to tell my insurer?
Yes. A remap is a modification, so you should tell your insurer. Many insurers cover remapped cars, sometimes at little or no extra cost.
Will it affect my warranty?
It can affect a manufacturer warranty on related parts. If your car is still under warranty, talk to us first and we'll explain your options.
Can it be reversed?
Yes. We save your original file before any changes, so we can put your car back to standard whenever you like.
How long does it take?
Most remaps take 1 to 2 hours, including the health check and test drive. Dyno sessions and gearbox tunes may take longer.
Diesel or petrol, which gains more?
Turbo diesels and turbo petrols usually see the biggest gains, often 20–35%. Non-turbo petrol engines see smaller gains, so we'll always be honest about what's worth doing.
Do you remove DPFs or EGRs?
No. Removing or disabling a DPF, EGR or AdBlue system is illegal on UK roads and fails the MOT. We offer legal diagnostics, cleaning and repairs only.
